Day 40

Liam was a happy boy all day. He stayed awake for a long time yesterday. We had lots of wonderful visitors yesterday and he didn't want to miss a thing. He did gain some more weight in his belly so they increased his diuretic to every 8 hours instead of every 12. Hopefully that helps with the weight. But for the most part nothing really changed. He had a few weans on his vent but today was a day of rest. Everybody needs one. Grandma and Grandpa Sugar and our first little boy left today. It's always hard saying goodbye to Parker but he loves his grandparents so it makes it a little easier knowing he is happy and doing good. Aunt Kathy and Uncle Paul also game to visit today. It's always fun having them here. They always make us laugh. And our dearest friends Nick and Lora drive up this afternoon to meet Liam. Of course Liam stole their hearts like he does everyone with those big eyes and handsome face. Today we would say It was a good day.
