Liam Kent letting us know he is the boss

So shortly after I post my blog about how today was all rainbows and butterflies! Liam decides he needs to let mommy and daddy know who is the boss! His vitals begin to drop! Significantly his oxygen. Chris and I are sitting there holding our breaths as a team descends on Liam! Seeing my baby being poked and proded is one of the hardest things! They try to get a peripheral line in his arm, this is another spot where then can administer meds! They couldn't get a vein, tried the foot no luck, do u know she looked in his head for a line, that's when I realized my 7th day of no crying was over! We thought we finally made it to our Angie goes one day without crying day! Not a chance... He was so agitated and upset.. He was awake and moving around like he was in pain.... You hear things they say and you hold your breath till they tell you he is ok! They did not feel like it was a lung issue, lungs were clear on auscultation and chest X-ray so you hear those words that tear your heart out of your chest that is "HEART/pULMONARY VEIN.... After 2 hours and 1:00 am later they finally get him back to awesome numbers..... He was not sedated enough.. Back on a couple more sedation meds... Increase on the morphine and dopamine. Doctor said I do not want him moving! After a few short minutes administering more meds he was under no stress, levels amazing ( actually they were awesome) and he drifted back to a deep deep sleep... Doctors finally had time to let Chris and I understand...when someone is in pain or under agitation after what he has been through, everything in his body tenses up. So for him he was constricting blood flow to his heart affecting his levels... Pain meds and heavy sedation was the answer, thank god and easy fix.. They try to wean , we think we are making amazing progress then Liam shouts, slow down I am not ready and we all take two steps back.. He is the boss and yes I do feel like he will be even after we get home!!!
