End of day 4

Our little guy had a very big day today! Tonight he is resting very peacefully. All of his vitals are perfect! Back on his Lasix drip to get all the extra fluid off from his surgery. Chest cavity is still open and might stay that way for some time.. They are weaning him of his epi, hoping all goes well with the med change.. We are all so proud of him and overjoyed with his progress! Day 4 done and we would call this a successful day! A quote from my sister Dana ( who is a huge buckeye fan) " Today was a big day for the sweet little guy but He is a victor for sure"..... And of course I added. Go Blue!!!!! She said "baby steps for us bucks". Now that I am feeling more like myself.. I will try to make daily blogs at the end of each day!!
